Welcome to Pocock’s Solicitors of Whitstable, the firm that provides modern, efficient and friendly client services and believes in traditional values.

The firm was formed in 2003 to provide a broad range of legal services in the Whitstable/Tankerton area and beyond.

Stephen Pocock started work as a clerk in London in 1971 and after training there and in Canterbury, was admitted as a solicitor in 1981.

As a “Man of Kent”, born in Gillingham, he has wide experience of the area, practising in Whitstable for over 17 years; for 7 years as a sole practitioner.

Whilst he has experience in many areas of law, both contentious and non-contentious, in recent years he has specialised in Civil Litigation and Employment law and undertakes Commercial Property and Landlord & Tenant work. He has also been a Seminar Leader on the Legal Process course at the University of Kent at Canterbury.

The Firm understands the needs of clients and (sometimes) their reluctance to take legal advice at an early stage.
